New York Part Two: New Years, Empire State and Exploration

I planned to go to Times Square on New Years Eve and headed into the city to check it out. However, after waiting for hours in the freezing cold weather I thought it best to head back to the apartment for the warmth, have a nap and watch the ball drop from the comfort of bed instead.

I spent the next day exploring some more of the city including a visit to the observation deck of the Empire State Building and the Lego store. In the evening I went and saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on Broadway! The days were cold, but New York has so much to do that you don’t always feel like you’re out in the cold for too long.
