New York Part One: Snow, Exhaustion and Spongebob: The Musical

I arrived in the US a couple of days ago, and after 26  + hours of travelling arrived in Elizabeth, New Jersey. NJ is only about 35 minutes by train from New York Penn Station and so I’ve spent the last couple of days exploring as much as I can fit into the day as I can.

Let me tell you though, it’s not been easy as it’s been super tiring and I miss being in the same time zone as people back home so I don’t feel so lonely all the time. I am 6’3 so there’s no way I’m gonna sleep on an economy flight.

Saturday started off with snow (the first time I’ve ever seen real snowfall), Nintendo NYC, The Rockette’s Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall, Times Square and SpongeBob: The Musical (which was fantastic!). This is just a selection of photos from my first day here, and I’ll post some more shortly!
